There are purpose made scrapbooks like this.... amazon.com/ Pioneer-11-Inch-Jumbo-Scrapbook/ dp/ B000XAJH2O/ ref= sr_1_3?ie= UTF8 &s= home-garden &qid= 1265821530 &sr= 8-3 and if you scroll down the page (in "Buy This Product and Related Accessories ") you 'll find links to glue and tape and stuff.... |

OK first of all, yes you would make the page and then put it into the sleeve, you glue everything down with acid free glue and nothing falls off. I 'm not really sure what comes in a lot of the scrapbook kits, I had one when I was like 14 and it was a crappy one. Then I got another scrapbook as a gift and it came with a little pack of paper and some punch outs that weren 't very attractive. The best investment I made was I bought a book of paper at hobby lobby on sale for $10, It was regularly $20 and It had like 200 or 250 pages in it. look through them and pick one you like the most but also get a pack of regular colors too. It all depends on how much embellishment you want. Try to buy stuff on sale, and Walmart has some good things too that are a bit cheaper than the craft stores. Play with your photo 's a lot before you start gluing, also be organized (pictures) it will make things quicker. I am including a few websites that you can get some idea 's from. |

Yes, you design and assemble the page, then slip it into the plastic sleeve in the album. There are special glues and adhesives for scrapbooking. All craft stores, and big discount stores like WallyWorld have scrapbooking departments. Creative Memories is one well know scrapbooking company. They offer supplies and meetings, sort of like a Tupperware party, but for scrapbookers. There are a couple of local groups in my area. One meets at a church every other Tuesday night. Another meets at the CM consultant 's home. Look around in your town for a scrapping club. The experienced members will help you get started. There are also magazines aimed at scrabooking. Our local $1 store carries a lot of supplies, a resource for scrapping on the cheap! Be aware, this can take over your dining room table and your free time! |
